Welcome to my new amateur photography blog.
I have decided to try my hand at amateur photography in 2009, which is either very brave or very stupid. I haven't really got going yet so I've decided to publish a few photos from my existing collection.
This first photo was taken at the beach in Port Douglas, Australia as the sun rose over the Coral Sea.

PM, this is just gorgeous! Besides your lovely sky you've caught a wave just about to break. It's really very nice! Have you thought about joining SkyWatch Friday? They would just love this and you can enter photos weekly...get some exposure (no pun intended!).

Thanks so much for such the kind comment and also for being the first person to comment on the new blog.
I'll look into SkyWatch Friday. I have a couple of sunrises/sunsets from various holidays.
I have seen some great "sky" pictures but the problem is that Manchester is a little too cloudy. Let's hope I can grab some decent snaps.
