For some bizarre reason, Jasper, one of our black cats, decided to make a meal out of today's newspaper. He's on a diet - perhaps we are being too strict.

You should be a stand up comic, or a sit down one, whichever. But you should be performing before an audience. You are something I would come to see. It would be awhole event in itself.
PS I agree with my friend EarthToHolly...he needs fiber. Put him on those little "All Bran" squiggly things, you know the breakfast cereals that older people eat. That should do the trick! Like Holly says, just a thought.
On second thought, maybe he's just taking out his aggressions by eating the paper. They say cats who do naughty things are trying to tell their "masters" something. I think it's time you two had a heart to heart. Just a thought. If he poops on your pillow, then you seriously need the heart to heart. Plus a new pillow cover. LOLOLOL!!!!

I couldn't be a stand up (or sit down) comic - I'm terrified of public speaking :-)
Despite the diet of newspaper, Jasper is still too fat. The problem is there's too much paper in the house. And I'm sure he's trying to eat our wooden floor too.
Fortunately, all cats are banned from the bedroom (you recall the cat saliva episode?) so he won't poop on my pillow. I do have a tendency to fall asleep downstairs sometimes though - YEUCH! The mere thought fills me with dread.
I'm glad you like the photo of the Opera House - I do too.
